Occupational Therapist
Rachel is a heart-centered healthcare professional and mother of two, who has been passionate about helping others achieve their full potential since she began her career in 2013. With a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from McMaster University—where she also minored in Psychology—Rachel combines a wealth of knowledge with a compassionate approach to client care.
Rachel began her career with the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) in Oxford County, providing case management and crisis intervention services. She also gained valuable experience in home and community care. Later, she transitioned to the automobile sector, assisting clients recovering from catastrophic and non-catastrophic motor vehicle accidents.
Trained in mindful self-compassion, and mindfulness, Rachel is certified as a Life Coach. Rachel’s approach is further informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Her holistic focus on health encompasses the body, mind, and soul, empowering her clients to make meaningful changes in their lives. Rachel is particularly passionate about supporting mothers through the transitions of motherhood, returning to work after maternity leave, and managing life’s challenges.
Beyond her professional life, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family, staying active, and retreating to her family’s cottage. She also hosts wellness retreats for mothers, combining her love of health, wellness, and personal development. Rachel’s dedication to learning and growth is a constant in both her personal and professional life, making her a trusted partner on her clients’ journeys to well-being.
